The Montpelier Chamber Orchestra is committed to elevating contemporary and classical music through intimate performances, outreach in schools, and connecting the Central Vermont community around music.
Our Vision
To provide relevant programing that attracts and builds new audiences in Central Vermont to appreciate and make live classical music performances a part of their lives.
Our members are dedicated volunteers who come together several times a year to provide engaging performances of both traditional and contemporary chamber orchestra repertory.

Over the years, the MCO has nurtured collaboration between local schools and musicians. In 2019, MCO brought Berlin-raised Violinist Jesse Irons to work with students at Montpelier High School and U32 Middle and High Schools.
Our orchestra of advanced amateur and professional musicians, led by our conductor, Daniel Bruce, performs works spanning baroque through contemporary.
