Announcing our 2019 Spring Salon

the North Branch Nature Center, Montpelier, VT
On Saturday, May 4th from 6-8 p.m., explore the newly renovated North Branch Nature Center while grazing on tasty appetizers and hearty provisions provided by chef Vince Muraco of The Hippie Chickpea, wine and sangria, vegetarian, meat, fish and vegan appetizers, and a delectable dessert course including cheesecake, cookies, chocolate mousse and cider.
Music Director, Anne Decker, curates musical guest ensembles around the property during meal time, followed by a solo concert with renowned oboist, Ellen Katz Willner, in collaboration with Vermont’s own virtuoso pianist, Diane Huling. Ms. Willner is a member of the American Ballet Theater Orchestra. She has performed with the New England Baroque Soloists, New York Chamber Soloists, served as principal oboist of both the Bogota and Caracas symphony orchestras, and was a founding member of the Quintet of the Americas. She loves to teach and continues to perform as a recitalist in Florida, New Jersey, and New York. We are delighted to welcome Ms. Willner to be part of MCO’s Spring Salon where she will perform music of Handel, Jacob, Britten, Ponchielli & Debussy.
Tickets are $75 per person (includes food, drinks and 90 minutes of musical performances) and benefits the Montpelier Chamber Orchestra programming fund and North Branch Nature Center’s Forest Preschool program scholarships.
